It was not easy, but writing and recording Taquero was a sort of fun challenge which allowed me to delve deeper into my Fania record collection and also work with my friend Eduardo Arenas from Chicano Batman. \u00a0 \u00a0He and many other talented LA based musicians really brought this sound to life.Thematically, this is a love song for taqueros. I wanted to write something fun spirited by using double entendres, or my attempt at a Mexican artform referred to as the &#8222;albur&#8220;.
