TORRES<\/strong> – das Musikprojekt der New Yorker K\u00fcnstlerin Mackenzie Scott<\/strong> – k\u00fcndigt ihr neues Album \u201eWhat An Enormous Room“<\/strong> an, das am 26.01.2024<\/strong> bei Merge<\/strong> erscheint und pr\u00e4sentiert die erste Single\/Video \u201eCollect“<\/strong> (DSPs). Gleichzeitig mit der Ank\u00fcndigung stellt Scott eine Tournee f\u00fcr 2024 durch Nordamerika, Gro\u00dfbritannien und Europa vor, wobei weitere Termine noch folgen werden. \u201eWhat An Enormous Room“ wurde im letzten Herbst im Stadium Heights Sound in Durham, North Carolina, aufgenommen und folgt auf die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von Scotts gefeiertem Album \u201eThirstier“ im Jahr 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201eCollect“ leitet das neue Kapitel mit einer scharfen Produktion, aufgeblasenen Synthies und einer Konfrontation ein: \u201eI know what you expect \/\/ You expect to be first \/\/ You claim what you didn’t earn \/\/ Is that what you deserve?“ Scott strahlt Zuversicht aus, w\u00e4hrend sie auf eine Reihe von Fragen zusteuert: \u201eHabe ich einen Nerv getroffen?“ Und f\u00fcgt hinzu: \u201eIn diesem Song geht es darum, dass der Gerechtigkeit Gen\u00fcge getan wird. Der Wut-Song, den ich schon seit Jahren schreiben wollte!“ Diese Emotionen kommen in dem dazugeh\u00f6rigen Video, bei dem Dani Okon Regie f\u00fchrte, voll zur Geltung.<\/p>\n
