Das in Hermosillo, Mexiko, ans\u00e4ssige Quartett Margaritas Podridas wurde aus Bewunderung f\u00fcr die Underground-Rock-Landschaft der 90er geboren, Songwriting der Grunge-Szene, dem verschmutzten Pop von Shoegaze und den lauten Gitarrenikonen des College Rock. Abgesehen von der Tontechnik gibt es in Margaritas Podridas eine politische Ader und Do-It-Yourself-Ethik, die an den konfrontativen Idealismus ihrer musikalischen Vorfahren erinnert, der sich in ihren Bem\u00fchungen zum Aufbau einer Szene f\u00fcr Minderj\u00e4hrige in ihrer Heimatstadt, ihrer Ablehnung der englischen Sprache trotz ihrer wachsenden internationalen Fangemeinde und ihrer Vorliebe zeigt daf\u00fcr, dem Sexismus sowohl in der Musikindustrie als auch in der Welt den Mittelfinger zu zeigen.<\/p>\n

Carolina Rivera von\u00a0Margaritas Podridas sagt, \u201c\u2018Filosa\u2019 is one of my favorite songs we\u2019ve ever done. It is a very playful song composed by Rafael, but the lyrics were written by me about feeling stuff you can\u2019t say, hurting the one you love by being indecisive, with anger, and desperation. We had the opportunity to work with very talented friends while recording and producing these songs, such as Jack Endino, who produced Bleach, one of our favorite albums by Nirvana. It was such a dream for us, as well as Felipe Garcia, who has been recording with us since the beginning in our hometown Hermosillo, Sonora.\u201d<\/p>\n

The dynamics of both songs are very playful and exciting, we are very happy with how they came out.
