Neben vielen weiteren musikalischen Stationen war der umtriebige Schnitzler Mitglied bei den Kraut-Elektronik-Formationen Tangerine Dream und Kluster. Zahlreiche Soloalben runden sein umfangreiches Oeuvre ab. So auch \u00bbCon 84\u00ab, sein wohl durchkomponiertestes Werk, auf dem er die Traditionen der E-Musik herausfordert.
