Der 1984 von Heiko Maile, Oliver Kreyssig und Marcus Meyn in Bietigheim\u0002Bissingen gegr\u00fcndeten Band \u201eCamouflage\u201c gelang 1988 mit ihrem Deb\u00fct Album \u201eVoices & Images\u201c ein internationaler \u00dcberraschungs-Erfolg, der vom folgenden Album \u201eMethods of Silence\u201c noch \u00fcbertroffen wurde. Noch heute z\u00e4hlen Songs wie \u201eThe Great Commandment\u201c und \u201eLove Is A Shield\u201c zu den Klassikern des Synthie-Pop-Genres. <\/p>\n

Mit dem dritten Album \u201eMeanwhile\u201c gingen Heiko Maile und Marcus Meyn (Oliver Kreyssig hatte die Band zuvor verlassen) 1991 neue Wege und setzten vermehrt auf eine Bandbesetzung mit echten Drums, Gitarre, Bass und Keyboards. <\/p>\n
