12.01.2026, Seattle – Band of Horses kündigen heute an, dass sie den 20.Geburtstag ihres mit Gold ausgezeichneten Debütalbums „Everything All The Time“ von 2006 mit einer erweiterten Jubiläumsausgabe feiern werden, die am 20.03.2026 über Sub Pop Records erscheint. Die erweiterte Edition mit 19 Tracks enthält zusätzlich eine LP mit Bonus-Tracks, darunter die Tour-EP von 2005, zahlreiche bisher unveröffentlichte Studio- und Live-Tracks sowie Raritäten wie „The End’s Not Near“ (bekannt aus der Serie „The O.C.“) und eine Demoversion der Doppelplatin-Single „The Funeral“.
Für die Jubiläumsausgabe wurde das Album komplett neu gemastert, das Artwork überarbeitet und zu einem Klappcover erweitert. Zusätzlich enthält es neue Liner Notes des Produzenten des Albums, Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Built To Spill, Modest Mouse, Father John Misty).
In seinen Liner Notes schreibt Ek:
„I’ve always believed that albums need to feel special and should transcend the recording process. I want records that I produce to feel like you can walk into them, to have a three-dimensional depth. The music should stay as fresh and exciting as the first time you heard it. Achieving this requires a lot of time, trust, and effort in the studio, but it pays off in the end. Twenty years on, I still think Everything All The Time exemplifies this fully.“
Ben Bridwell von Band of Horses fügt anlässlich des Jubiläums hinzu:

Ebenfalls heute erscheint der bisher unveröffentlichte Fanliebling „(Biding Time Is a) Boat to Row“ zusammen mit einem neuen offiziellen Musikvideo von James Ayling (Cape Films). Inspiriert von der wahren Geschichte des 52-Hertz-Wals, spielt Josh Whitehouse (Daisy Jones & The Six) die Hauptrolle.
